This position is within our AI Research Center in TII.
Role Summary
The Lead Researcher will spearhead advanced AI research initiatives, driving innovation and contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies. This role involves leading research projects from conception to completion, mentoring junior researchers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical advancements into practical applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and conduct original research in AI, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
Oversee research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for real-world applications.
Stay current with advancements in AI and integrate emerging technologies into research.
Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to apply research findings.
Present research outcomes through reports, presentations, and publications in top-tier conferences.
Guide and mentor junior researchers and interns on methodologies and project execution.
Ensure adherence to ethical standards and responsible AI practices.
Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of research experience in AI or related domains.
Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and big data technologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience with reinforcement learning, generative AI, or multimodal systems.
Knowledge of AI ethics and regulatory compliance.

The firm is led by Dr. Alejandro Canonero, author of War of the Ecosystems and creator of the Platform Envelopment, Minimum Viable Ecosystems, and Ecosystem Commander frameworks. The team combines board-level strategy with practical execution. Typical engagements range from executive workshops and 6 to 12 week build sprints to ongoing advisory retainers, all measured against partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue outcomes. Clients include Chief Revenue Officers (CROs), alliance leaders, and founders who want to stop running AI pilots and start running an AI-orchestrated business.
Role Description: AI Orchestration Consultant (Remote)
The AI Orchestration Consultant designs, assesses, and optimizes the agentic AI systems that power our clients' partner-led growth. This is a consulting role, not a pure engineering role: you will translate business goals into orchestrated AI systems and prove their value in revenue terms.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Conduct AI orchestration readiness assessments across a client's data, tooling, partner ecosystem, and operating model, and identify where agents will produce measurable value.
Design multi-agent architectures for GTM use cases such as partner attribution, revenue forecasting, deal scoring, co-sell coordination, and marketplace operations.
Select and integrate orchestration frameworks and interoperability standards, including the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and hyperscaler-native agent tooling, and advise clients on build versus buy decisions.
Define the governance layer: evaluation methods, human approval gates, audit trails, cost and latency controls, and escalation paths that make agentic systems safe to run in production.
Translate business goals into AI use cases with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and own the implementation roadmap from workshop to production.
Apply machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to extract insight from partner communications, marketplace listings, revenue data, and enablement content.
Produce clear documentation and client-ready deliverables, contribute to executive workshops and build sprints, and stay current on advances in agentic AI, orchestration platforms, and hyperscaler marketplace capabilities.
Qualifications:
Agentic AI and orchestration experience. You have designed, built, or evaluated multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or hyperscaler-native tooling (Amazon Bedrock Agents, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI), and you understand interoperability standards such as MCP.
Machine learning and data science depth. You can build and refine models for forecasting, scoring, and pattern recognition across partner performance and revenue data, with proficiency in Python, SQL, and common Machine Learning (ML) frameworks.
Large Language Model (LLM) engineering skill. You are fluent in context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and NLP over unstructured business data.
Governance and reliability mindset. You know how to make agentic systems trustworthy: evaluation harnesses, guardrails, human-in-the-loop design, and awareness of emerging AI regulation.
Consulting craft. Stakeholder management, problem structuring, and the ability to explain complex AI systems in plain language to executives who own revenue numbers.
Domain fit. Experience applying AI in Business-to-Business (B2B) SaaS, cloud, or partner ecosystems, and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud marketplaces.
An advanced degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics is beneficial, as is the ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
