Senior AI Solutions Engineer - UAE

Role Overview

DataRobot is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to help enterprise customers understand and adopt agentic AI and machine learning platforms. This pre-sales role combines business discovery, AI solution architecture, rapid MVP development, customer-facing demonstrations, and technical consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand customer priorities, challenges, and technical constraints.

• Translate business requirements into agentic AI and machine learning platform capabilities.

• Identify high-value automation and decision-making opportunities for enterprise customers.

• Design and build enterprise-grade agentic AI MVPs and production-inspired prototypes.

• Develop multi-agent orchestration, tool-use, memory, MCP servers, and agent observability capabilities.

• Recommend deployment models based on security, governance, scalability, and data-readiness requirements.

• Build modern enterprise user interfaces using React and design systems such as shadcn/ui.

• Select and integrate suitable LLMs, frameworks, APIs, and agent architectures.

• Deliver outcome-focused demonstrations that connect customer problems, AI solutions, and business impact.

• Support pilots, workshops, proofs of value, and customer-facing technical discussions.

• Advise customers on AI governance, data security, model transparency, and responsible AI.

• Create reusable solution patterns, templates, and technical best practices.

Required Skills

• Experience in pre-sales engineering, applied AI, technical consulting, customer-facing software engineering, or technical product roles.

• Hands-on experience building agentic AI applications using modern LLM frameworks and orchestration patterns.

• Strong backend development experience with Python, TypeScript, and APIs.

• Experience designing MCP servers and integrating AI applications with external systems.

• Experience with AI evaluation, tracing, and observability tools.

• Proficiency with React and modern frontend development tools.

• Strong communication, presentation, solution-design, and live-demo skills.

• Ability to convert ambiguous business problems into practical AI solutions.

Education and Experience

• 6-8+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• An advanced degree in AI or machine learning is an advantage.

• Experience delivering AI or complex software solutions within the Oil and Gas industry is a strong advantage.

• Ability to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, workshops, conferences, and events.
